A note from the founder…

Hi! I’m Savannah, the founder of Buffalo Brow & Lash Lounge.

Beauty has always been a passion of mine, but my journey into the beauty industry wasn’t a straight or easy path.

When I was 20 years old, (now 33), I got my very first set of eyelash extensions, and I was instantly hooked. I became fascinated by the artistry behind them and couldn’t stop asking questions. I knew someday I wanted to learn everything I could and become one of the best at creating beautiful, confidence-boosting results.

Like many people life took me in a different direction for several years. Although I never lost my passion for beauty, I wasn’t in a position to leave my job and attend cosmetology school full-time.

Then in 2020, everything changed.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I was laid off from my job with no idea what the future would look like. Like so many others, I suddenly found myself wondering how I was going to pay my bills and what came next, needing to start over.

Looking back now, what felt like one of the scariest moments of my life, became the opportunity that changed my entire life.
I enrolled myself in cosmetology school, and dedicated almost every day for a year to this, but I truly couldn’t have dreamt of what BBLL would become 🖤

After earning my cosmetology license, I worked at a local salon where I became the sole lash artist. I immersed myself in advanced trainings, invested in certifications, attended continuing education courses, and spent countless hours refining my techniques. Every client, every class, and every experience helped shape the artist and business owner I am today.
The commitment to always learning is something I’ve carried with me ever since. It’s the reason education remains one of the core values at Buffalo Brow & Lash Lounge - for myself, my team, and every student who walks through the door.

Fast forward a year and a half, in 2022 I took the biggest leap of all and opened Buffalo Brow & Lash Lounge.
It was fast, it was premature, I wasn’t ready, but it was the only option.
Since then, what started as me being obsessed with lash extensions and a dream, has grown into a multiple award-winning beauty studio offering lashes, brows, permanent makeup, education, boutique merchandise, and a podcast dedicated to celebrating our community and my peers.

Looking back, the road to building BBLL wasn’t easy. I’ve experienced some of the hardest years and biggest challenges of my life, and there were moments when I could barely get out of bed.
Through it all, this career became so much more than just a job. It gave me purpose, confidence, something to pour my heart into when I needed it most.

Today, I still wake up every day feeling incredibly grateful that I get to do what I love. That when I leave work on Saturday, by Sunday night I am ready and excited to go back to work on Monday morning. To help people feel confident, continuing to learn every single day, teach others, and living out this dream. Buffalo Brow & Lash Lounge did not just become my business, it became a home, with you guys family, my passion, and in so many ways, it saved my life.
